Term 4: Week 4

Namaste MWPS Family

What a weekend of sport! The Black Ferns, Phoenix Men, Black Caps, Kiwi Ferns, Kiwis, Joseph Parker and the Rugby World Cup final. Sport teaches important life skills like teamwork, perseverance, and good sportsmanship. Our tamariki learn how to work together with others, to keep trying even when things are tough, and how to win or lose with grace and respect. Plus, sports are a fun way for kids to stay active and healthy while making new friends.

Week 4 Reminders:
-Spotlight on Values: Resilience
Resilience is like having a superpower that helps you come back strong when life gets tough. It
also helps communities recover after disasters and helps businesses stay strong even when
things change a lot. Resilience is like a secret weapon for facing problems and getting through
them. This weeks dinner table questions: What are some things you are finding challenging? How
do you like to solve problems and disagreements? What helps you stay positive? What do you
draw strength from in tough times?
-Sunhats are compulsory for all learners and must be worn everyday.
