Ni sa bula vinaka MWPS Vuvale
How about our MWPS Boys Rugby Champions!!! Yup, that’s back-to-back championships for our lads, a brilliant effort and we are so incredibly proud of you. It’s Road Safety Week this week, a perfect opportunity to share and talk about the importance of being road safe with your whānau. Remind them to always stop, look, and listen before crossing the road. This is especially important for learners who wear hoodies and headphones as these block out so many important sounds that keep us safe around the road. Discuss the importance of wearing safety belts and avoiding distractions like phones while walking or cycling. By doing these things, we help keep our tamariki safe and well. As road users and pedestrians, we set the safety standards we expect. Let’s be excellent role models for our precious tamariki.
Week 4 reminders:
– Come to school every day, free breakfast, free morning tea, free lunch.
– The weather will be changeable this week so make sure you have extra layers to pop on if you get cold and bag to pop jumpers or sweatshirts in when you get hot.
