Evening MWPS Families
What a fireworks extravaganza it was this weekend with Diwali and Guy Fawkes celebrations. Diwali is a joyful festival celebrated by millions of people in India and around the world. It’s also known as the “Festival of Lights.” During Diwali, people light oil lamps, called diyas, and colourful candles to decorate their homes and brighten up the night. Families come together to share delicious food, exchange gifts, and celebrate with fireworks. It’s a time to spread happiness, and be with loved ones.
Week 5 Reminders:
-Water is the best drink for our learners. Spring is in full glory with its changeable weather, make sure your child has a water bottle or uses the fountains often.
-Changeable weather means layers. T-shirts with a jumper on top are great choices.
-Spotlight on Values: Respect
Respect means to recognise the value and worth of all people, regardless of their background or belief. It’s important because it helps us get along with others and understand their feelings. When we show respect, we create opportunities for trust and open communication. We make friends and listen to each other better.
