The Arts

Visual Art, Music, Dance and Drama are an integral part of all classroom programmes. We are fortunate to have a specialist dance teacher from the FootSteps Dance Company in term 2 this year to work alongside each class once a week. We also have a very capable choir master who trains the school choir and takes singing in the middle and senior schools each Friday afternoon. Students are offered music and dance through a cultural lens in Kapa Haka, Pasifika and Indian Dance. Each term there is a visual arts focus towards an authentic task for every student to complete, which is displayed in the school hall.
